At Crowder Consulting we are fully committed to developing all our people effectively in order to achieve our aims and objectives and to improve our performance. We have recently achieved recognition as an Investor in People.
Every employee within the organisation has regular appraisals with regard to their personal training needs and the needs of the organisation. Training needs are identified and development plans established.
Training may take place in-house or be outsourced to either local colleges or specialist training providers. In addition there are two established training schemes within the company. These training schemes are four year training programmes designed to lead our graduate engineers to chartered status (CIWEM and ICE). They are approved by the relevant professional bodies and administered by Professor Richard Burrows of the University of Liverpool.
Other training recently undertaken includes:
- Risk management training for all personnel who drive company vehicles
- Management Diploma at Liverpool Hope University for four middle managers
- National and Higher National Certificate programmes at the local FE college
- Specialist Delphi and Java programming training courses provided on site by external trainers
- Signing, lighting and guarding, streetworks and confined spaces training for fieldwork engineers
- Oracle training provided by the Oracle corporation

- First Aid in the Workplace
- Project Management Training provided on site for all staff by Peter Case-Upton, Project Management Specialist, Liverpool John Moores University
